When I was a kid I watched a documentary on Frida Kahlo and was haunted and intrigued by her bus accident, which involved a handrail going through her body.

Since then I have had these dreams where a metal pipe is through my stomach. I refuse taking the pipe out of my stomach during the entire dream because I fear when the pipe is removed I will fall apart. Frida Kahlo’s self-portrait seems to illustrate these dreams to me. A silent cry, understanding that if a section is taken from the pillar that is her back, she will crumble.

Learn more about Frida Kahlo at her wiki page here. Ben posted this picture a while ago at his tumblr here.

What do you do?

When people are playing a game you fail to understand?

Just become an architect, you big idiot. For your health.

What have I been doing

Well,

I just made myself a mug of hot apple cider

I finished my puzzle a couple of days ago and am just photographing it now.

Lastly, here is a photo of my new, super ugly slippers from K-mart. So warm, and so unattractive.
