My mom is amazing and came up with this idea of using plant tags as labels for iced tea. Check out her post about it here.
Waterproof, recycled, and delicious (not the garden tag part).
Black*Eiffel: The Seed Cathedral.
One of the coolest things I have ever seen. Seed classification… to the extreme. The “cathedral” displayed thousands of seeds collected by Royal Botanical Gardens. Pretty cool, huh?

I finally bit the bullet and exchanged the completely dead lilacs and replaced them with roses and lavender.
I am the worst with flowers, because they always demand so much and even if you give them what they want (rare in my case) they still die. Depressing.
This is very cool, but looks like so much work to make.. I don’t think I am a DIY kind of girl. Check out the instructions at the article.
Pretty peony from the backyard.
Made this the other day, while listening to Darwin Deez’s song Deep Sea Diver.
I was looking for pictures of terrariums to put on here when I felt something on my stomach. I spent all day gardening with my mom and was very nervous to see what it was, because every bug is terrifying. Except, inchworms.
Which is what it was!
And here is the picture of a terrarium I found right before, the moment of fear.
The photo is by Matt Chung and reminded me how much I want a terrarium.

Snapshots from a trip to Long Hill and Sedgwick Gardens a week ago. Remember when it wasn’t rainy… I’m beginning to forget.
Finished this puzzle a while ago. It was cute, and the shapes of the pieces were nice and challenging.
Rose, stop showing up the rest of my garden.
