I just assumed that Water for Elephants was about the elephant man.
Apparently I was wrong.
Sometimes you find something a friend made and you are so amazed, because you knew they were really cool, but you hadn’t realized they were so cool that they were producing cool things.
Just yesterday I found out that a former RA of mine has the coolest blog ever called The Tragic Whale. She does paper cut outs of whales and their tragic stories. I am going to put one of my favorites here.
Margo would become… a Cargo Whale!
Also she made a shark coin purse, which is up there in coolest things ever.

Currently at a two week training thing for becoming an Academic Mentor at my school. It’s like being an RA, but different.
That is why I haven’t posted in a while. That is also why my google reader has 192 unread items. Hopefuly tonight, I can spend my brief amount of free time relearning the internet and everything it has to offer.
Today was a big day for my ’94 Plymouth Voyager. She’s old, but works out and stays in really good shape. But, while I was turning this happened.
The axel and the wheel just decided they weren’t friends anymore. And it was a messy separation. She was rescued by really amazing tow truck men and brought to the mechanic.
Then I got her back later today! How is that possible? I was convinced that she was done for. I was planning memorial services in my head, but she survived. She’s pretty impressive!
